This section will give you an overview of all of our labs and libraries including important details about them that differ from the norm. Be sure you are familiar with this information for any of the labs or libraries you regularly work at and review it <strong>before<\/strong> you sub a shift at another location. You can also find further information online at <a href=\"https:\/\/its.ucsc.edu\/computer-labs\/descriptions\/index.html\">https:\/\/its.ucsc.edu\/computer-labs\/descriptions\/index.html<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>General Temporarily Unstaffed Lab Procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Procedure applies to the temporarily unstaffed labs at Rachel Carson College, BE109, Cowell Apartments, and Ming Ong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fill printer tray(s) just below\u00a0the &#8220;fill line&#8221; in the tray. We don&#8217;t want our customers to run out of paper when the lab is unstaffed!<\/li><li>Replace the toner when the printer control panel indicates that there is 2% or less toner remaining. You can check the toner level by accessing the &#8216;Printer Status&#8217; on the corresponding lab page. You will now see the printer status and toner level for the lab you are working at.<\/li><li>Place the orange &#8220;Lab Temporarily Unstaffed&#8221; sign near the consultant station.<\/li><li>Collect any headphones that were checked out to customers.<\/li><li>Move the\u00a0Handbook\u00a0and any other loose Learning Technologies property to the consultant cabinet.
