OpenShifts is provided as a convenience for you. <strong>In no circumstance does simply posting a shift relieve you of responsibility for it.<\/strong> If you are having trouble finding someone to cover for a critical sub request, follow the steps outlined above. The Management team needs to be aware that there may be a problem covering a shift.<strong> <\/strong>Ultimately, it is <strong>your<\/strong> responsibility to cover the shifts that you are assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The consequences for not showing up to your shifts are<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1st time = Warning*<\/li><li>2nd time = Dismissal<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*Note that you <strong>may be dismissed<\/strong> the first time you miss a shift if you have also committed other policy violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Student Consultants are, in all cases, responsible for working their assigned shifts or finding another consultant to cover the shift for them.
