The University of California mandates that all employees be entitled one 15-minute break per three hour working block. Since student Consultants rarely work more than three hours at a time, we require that all personal/restroom breaks to be kept below 15 minutes. Additionally, before leaving the consultant desk, please place the “Consultant Will Be Back in 5 Minutes” sign on the desk, and ensure that the printer(s) have enough paper and toner (wepanow Status Page).
