As a Consultant you are usually responsible for holding four permanent shifts per week. Should you want to work five permanent shifts it must be reviewed and approved by the management team. Please note that this review and approval process does not apply to one-time sub shifts.

To request more than four permanent shifts simply send an email to consmgr@ucsc.edu or message the Student Managers on Slack detailing what shift you would like to be approved for. We will be sure to get back to you as soon as possible.

NOTE: If you are either a newly employed consultant with less than one quarter of experience OR are on performance watch you may have to convince us that you are ready to take up the responsibility of an extra shift. Please do not hesitate to ask for permission, but also know that you will be subject to a bit more screening prior to being approved.
