UCPath

This is an employee self-service web application for all UC employees. UCPath is where you may sign up for direct deposit, modify your contact information, view your monthly earnings statements, update your tax withholding (W-4) and even access/print your W-2 for tax purposes at the end of the year. 

To sign up for UCPath, go to: https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu/ and login to your UCSC account and follow the instructions for signing up.

After logging into UCPath you will be brought to your Dashboard which has three columns looking like this:

How to set up Direct Deposit

To sign up for Direct Deposit, click “Direct Deposit” which is under the “Income and Taxes” column highlighted above. From there you can “Add Account” which will ask you for your banking information so they can get your paycheck Directly Deposited into your account. 

How to access your W-2

To find your W-2, click “View Online W-2/W-2C” which is under the “Income and Taxes” column highlighted above. From there you can download your latest W-2 forms or the instructions for filing, both of which will be in a PDF format. 

If you wish to set up your W-2 for electronic delivery, click on “Enroll to receive online W-2” also located under the “Income and Taxes” column and follow the steps it asks you for.
