Student Consultants are, in all cases, responsible for working their assigned shifts or finding another consultant to cover the shift for them. OpenShifts is provided as a convenience for you. In no circumstance does simply posting a shift relieve you of responsibility for it. If you are having trouble finding someone to cover for a critical sub request, follow the steps outlined above. The Management team needs to be aware that there may be a problem covering a shift. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to cover the shifts that you are assigned.

The consequences for not showing up to your shifts are:

• 1st time = Warning*
• 2nd time = Dismissal

*Note that you may be dismissed the first time you miss a shift if you have also committed other policy violations.
